Hey guys in the near future im doing a brake upgrade consisting on some rda slotted disks for front and possibly rear, direct placement with the factory disks. Now my question is what will be a good brake pad to match these two together for good quick stopping? Iv been reading up that QFM HPX pads are really good, also heard that ebc red/green stuff is good also but dont perform well when worn in abit, this what i have read just need some advice on what you got from your experience.
My car is a el ghia leaving stock 15" wheels on. Thanks sam |

You are correct about the QFM pads, uniacidz (whatever) will back them up.
EBC greenstuff/redstuff are also good, but pricey.

Ive only used EBC Greenstuff and they were pretty damn good.
But from what ive heard, if the QFM's are cheaper go for them.

Dont Red Stuff have to heat up a bit to be used at optimum level?
But on hear people say Bendix ultimate and a quality slotted rotor and you will pull up quick!

QFM's in E series calipers are good, I'd suggest on par with green stuff, they win on price though. If your gonna push them and do it quite often, and push em hard, red stuff. But they are overkill for alot of general applications and have an appitite for rotors.
QFM in C4 calipers suck though as they are incomplete.

I've got QFM HPX on both my XR6s - EF and AU - and they work great. I find them better than EBC (Redstuff front, Greenstuff rear). The initial bite is much better.

Im rocking the QFM HPX in my BF with slotted RDA rotors. I to read alot of good reviews about them until i put them in my car. They dont have a very good initial bite (take a few stops to get hot), they are very dusty and OMFG they squeal sooo bad! all at low speed which is even more annoying, i am seriously considering ripping them out and getting some bendix ultimates
