Finally got motivated after driving the EA 5 speed all week and started my install today.
Progress so far is the dash is out and seat removed and pedal box bolted up. I have relocated the wires from the clutch cable hole. I have to extend the LPG controller wires and mount it under the seat. Where I am running into problems is locating the connector for the clutch switch. There is a connector and a jumper terminator in the loom that the brake switch connector is on but the plug is different from the connector on the end of the clutch switch. Does any one know if this is the connection but the switch is wrong?

Sounds like you're in the general area - the plug needs to have green/red & green/white wires.

Must be them, I will change the connector and see how I go.

You can also check continuity with them and the CC actuator plug in the engine bay.

Gearbox is in Snap.
The wires were the correct colours so I assume the switch is the wrong model.

What a weekend .
EA .... Swapped EA diff to an EL. Swapped out all 4 springs and shocks. EF Swapped out the pedal box and relocated the GAS ECU by extending the 20 odd wires.. Installed the T5, well almost I still have the console to install and resistor mod to do. All done single handed, with still time to clean the pool and have a swim and 2 call outs for work.

Since that pedalbox you posted a while ago was an EA-ED one, I'd say the switch was of that vintage too - should still work, with a change in plug just like you did. {USERNAME} wrote: What a weekend . Yeah I do all my stuff on my own.

Sigh . . . All I did this weekend was install an EL PAB into a non PAB dash, and fit my customised manual pedalbox . . .

Well the clutch pedal does not disconnect the cruise control. Looks like the wrong connector or the switch is not working.... If it is the wrong connector then I cant get at it again as the dash is back in.

That's weird, I can get to all the connectors under the dash - they are a pain to reach though . . .
Try this: {USERNAME} wrote: You can also check continuity with them and the CC actuator plug in the engine bay.

While the dash was out I re-routed the cable over the top of the pedal box , this is why it is now hard to reach them. I will have to meter them out and see where the fault is.
