Looking at a set of BOGE Turbo Gas shocks for the EL. These will most probably be complemented with a set of Lowered Whiteline Control Springs.
Anyone used or using BOGE and/or Whiteline Springs? Your thoughts and opinions on these are much appreciated. |

Never heard of BODGE but the name sounds bad lol.
Heard good things about Whiteline though, they should be good. |

I've got them in mine, fronts are good not too sure about the rear though, I think I've got my front how I like it just don't like how the rear behaves I think they're too soft but I'm not sure if it's shocks that make it soft. I don't think you'll be dissappointed if upgrading from stock.
Also I've got whiteline flatout springs, I think the lowest whiteline do, I'd ditch the rear and get ultra lows from king springs or something, my front sits good but for flatouts the rear sits too high. Ben |

I have had these suggested to me when i got a quote for a 50mm lowering on my Ghia. They said that they keep the soft ride of the fairmonts, and will match a small lowering.
sounds good

I have BOGE struts and shocks in my EF with Lovells lowered springs and they are great I would recommend them. Car handles and drives nice with them in.

i had mine done with king's lows and boge shocks all round. it handles fine and still rides like a fairy should IMO. So as far as i'm concerned, boge's are good.

i agree with all of the above , i have king superlows all round ,boge short stroke shocks and yeahh, car handles good but like someone else said, the rear ones do feel a bit soft when you push on the car but to drive yeahh good, if your going superlow its about the only option i know of in a realistic price barrier, never tried the whiteline springs though, would like a set of swaybars from them eventually though

Can't really remember maybe $300 pair fronts and $200 a pair for rears. Springs were $150 a set bars were maybe $170. All up it cost me $1100, if my shocks weren't screwed I probably wouldn't have done it car's not worth that much.

I'm using them and am really happy with the ride quality. They drive well on all road conditions and at all speeds
