Just after some opinions on whiteline suspension products..
I didnt hear much about them really untill a few days ago when i asked a few people who told me they are quality products; long story short im looking at getting some new springs n shocks from them, lowered n was wondering if anyone has good or bad experiences with whiteline in general?
Also is you have a pic with a car lower with whiteline componants, id love to see!

For a off the shelf kit, whiteline have gotta be the best for Falcons. they've done alot of research and testing, and it's paid off.

I've got their superlow + handling kit on my EL. Dunno how much better they'd be over your ticky suspension, but from the stock EL setup it's a truly orgasmic improvement. I take my car to track days and mountain cruises, and have no problems.

Well, im not really doing it for heandling; i give the fbt 9/10 for handling as is; you can oush them just as hars as a ba, n they go awesome thru windey roads - problem being they sit TOO high for my liking..

I thought about getting my current setup reset, but i dont want to ruin them for when i sell the car in the future as they arent just "ticford susp" like the xr's had.

Thanks for the words and got any pics of the superlow kit with your 17" rims, they scrub the gaurds??

The link in my sig points to loads of pics.

I do get a little scrubbage, but only when tight cornering and heavy braking. One or the other is fine.

Heres a good one: http://fordmods.datamine.tk/cbrmeet300105/IMG_1821.jpg

ok, my mech says they dont call them superlows in the whiteline range when u go to order them; what i need to know is how many mm it is said to lower the ride height, 25mm/45mm/55mm/+...

Front looks awesome, but the rear is toooo high for my liking - what did they set you back?

got the springs AND shocks ye?

The back has settled since then, the cars now level. Spose I need to get a new pic.

I got the 55mm drops, KYB shocks, whitelines springs, polyurethane bushes, adjustable camber/castor kit, adjustable sway bars all fitted for $2,200 (AFAIK, it's their 'The Works Super Low kit' http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/fact_s ... EF-EL6.PDF)

Knowing what I know now, the 45mm would be scrub free. But its been worth every penny.

yup

/me smiles smugley

- Need to fool smartlock, with a second ignition barrel, that always has a key in it (in the On/II position).
- Retrain the BEM to recognise it (1 hour of sitting in the car doing not much, detailing the inside takes less than an hour),
- cut the ignition wires from it (so it can't be used to start the car (although the alarm will stop that anyway).
- Hide it somewhere in the dash.

I may at a later stage try to canibalise the smartlock module from the barrel, as it'll be easier to hide by itself, and then may not need the key.

I got one of those import alarms off of ebay (~$200), I wouldn't recommend it now that I know you should have all black wiring, but otherwise it's a great alarm. And you can get all black alarms now.

......Back onto the topic.

I got the whiteline low kit, with the Koni Shocks and a few new bushes.

The front went down approx 0.75 inch and the rear about 1.75 inch. Car sits level now, no problems with speed humps or anything even with 5 people in it. I have a pic at home will post later.

cost $1295 installed.

Yeah but daniel you have to remember he has a lot more to play with as his car had the standard suspension where as yours has tickford suspension which is almost 20mm lower already so it probably only drop about 30-40mm

Thanks for clarifying that luke; thats what i was hoping for.
Ford cant give me an exact mm drop of the fbt over stock height, just that its revised; honestly they were clueless lol.

Im guessing with the 55mm drop my front will come down bout 15-20mm as its sagged a bit, and is meant to be a little lower than normal stock suspension.
Hopefully the rear withh drop a bit more, as it still sits up nice n high like the day it was made..

If you do get it done, don't be disappointed with theback at first. It took mine a few months to settle in line, and level the car out. It was certainly lower out of the shop, but not level.
