As stated, I am looking at getting a set of braided brake lines for the front of my EL XR8 and I have found a reasonable priced second hand pair to suit an EF. are they the same as the EL ones?

the fronts are the same but the backs are different between the models and series. if your going to do it replace all of them with braided lines.

I only have fronts on...because they sent me the wrong rear braided lines. I now have EF braided lines I'm not using...was meant to replace them when I ever go back to the seller. By the way you can get full sets of braided lines at Hightek Brakes...not sure how much they were but Cam has looked after me well. They give you an engineers certificate too.

You can get a full set of eBay for $189. Adr approved . They reckon you should replace them all at once , if you only replace the front the rear could leak or fail because the fronts can hold more pressure , something like that . I have braided front and standard rear and have been fine
