Hi there if your a qualified mechanic I have a Q about my btr auto box.
It slightly jolts when accelerating through speeds of 58 to 65 kms. In D mode. What could be causing this ?? Brent.

is it only when it shifts gears at those speeds?
or is it making this jolt while in gear?

Sounds like 2nd to 3rd shift. S5 solenoid?
Do you have a shift kit fitted? |

Try a service then, could just be in need of that or the S5 is playing up.

Thermo fan relays, S4 solenoid, wrong fluid, f**k pump or S5 solenoid, ordered most likely to least likely

I know the answer as to what's wrong with it but I'm not a qualified mechanic sorry.
I will keep my mouth shut.

or maybe you could just f**k off and not waste our time, if your taking it to ford spend the money and get them to diagnose the problem, your nothing but rude to anyone else on the forum so you dont deserve the time of day

Why not get cresent to help diagnose it when its in for a tune? If your already dropping money at Cresent, They will be happy to advise on possible causes, they may even want you to get if fixed before they do a tune.
