I wouldn't put Ultra's on with a car with 17's, they look dumped, but you will f**k all ground clearance.
Supers will still sit nice and low with 17's on, and will probably have less clearance than i do with Ultra's and 19's.
I scrape the rear tow hooks or whatever the stupid things are when i have had my old 16's back on the car, coming in and out of my driveway, and there are a lot worse bumps, and speed humps around than that...

mine is on ultras all round on 17's, but hoping soon to replace the wheels with 19's. also with ultra lows you have alot of problems with the tyres scrubbing. I am running alot of front camber just to clear the guards that have been lipped. i am taking the car to the shop soon to get custon front and rear gaurds which will fix the scubbing problem even with 19's and also make it look lower

Thats the way I reckon, ultra rears, super fronts, gets rid of that stupid raised rear look.
They look alot better with the a*** sitting a bit lower then the front.
I've just done the ultra rears, super fronts on the sprint, have koni yellows all around, the fronts are on the lowest spring seat setting.
With the 16's it sits nice.
Yours sits perfectly prydey too, looks tough.

that doesn't make sense. the springs front and rear are physically different anyway. the spring rates are very similar as well so i can't see how it can be illegal. for handling they need to achieve different things as well.

as far as springs and shocks go i'd say you can run whatever combination you like as long as the physical stance of the car meets the minimum criteria eg 100mm ground clearance or 'x'mm eyebrow height.

what i am getting at is you cant lower the rear the more then the front or the other way around. if u have super lows in the front u must have them in the rear other wise its illegal

not true again bloke. don't worry about whatever you are being told by the suspension guys and ring up the rta or vicroads or whichever applies to you. tell them what car you have and they will give you minimum measurements as to how far you can go. they measure from centre of hub to bottom of guard (eyebrow height some call it).

my car has passed through regency (s.a. equivelent of vic roads or rta) at the height it is.
