quite possibly.
i have ultra's in the rear of my fairmont, and supers up front. you have to be cafeful with supers anyway, so i opted supers front so can hit speedbumps easy, and ultras rear to look cool. :P

In pretty much all cases yes.
And supers in alot of cases as well, depending on vehicle spec level and shock choice.

The minimum clearance underbody must be no less than 100mm (field test is a coke can standing up) I have been done in the past.... I now stick with stock height but much uprated shocks and rear springs/ tyres. Handling is awesome and looks are pretty good. I actually love the tail up high front down low look although front air-dam damage is likely.

ultralows are illegal. Even if you can get 100mm clearence, they are still illegal due to the amount of suspension travel you loose. From what i have found out super lows are legal and are as low as you can go on most e- series. Even saying all this i would go ultra lows just for the looks. I have them on my el futura with a venom body kit and it looks really low

Dunno about QLD, but Vic and most other states have a law that you can't lower the car so much as to reduce suspension travel by more then a 1/3 of original.
They usually use center of rim to guard heights, noted in their little book, to determine this.
You could argue you have shortened shocks or extended shock mounts in the rear, but it would probably do you no good.
Being legal is over-rated.

legal 'eyebrow' height for eb in s.a. is 335mm. therefore supers (345mm) are o.k. and ultra (330 - 335) are borderline given that every car will react a bit differently. they don't get too hung up on ground clearance here either.

It all depends on what your going to be using the car for fordjared. I've got SuperLows on mine and I cope alright going in and out of my steep driveway and speed bumps are no problems. When I get my new body kit I think I'm going to have to change my driving style.
What shockers are you going to be using with the springs?

Here's a pic of mine with SuperLows and 17's.
