Are xr6 turbo t5 and xr8 t5 the same i`m wanting to put behind a 351 cleveland on a cleveland bellhousing in an xw and re drilling to fit,what`s my best options besides a toploader and a single rail.Thanks in advance for all the help.

They are both different. Input shafts are different lengths.
Will it break ? I think that depends on how you drive it. I dont believe they are the strongest boxes around.

I got 500 hp and my t5 lasted less than a month :( now im going to a 6 speed :) and no i didnt drive it like i stole it lol...
