Hi all just a quick question i am fitting a au motor into my el fairmont & wanted to know does the au auto fit straight in with no issues ,tail shaft length wiring etc ???

its a direct fit, you just need to use the el gearbox cross member...

Won't fit unless you modify the Sump as in My Tech doco or if you modify the K-Frame.

Its the gearbox i needed to know i already have a modified k frame ,thanks for the info ,i am going to mod the box by drilling the hole for the dipstick tube from a ef as the au box has the spot blank & didn't want to bother if it didn't fit . thanks guys
