AFAIK the BA has larger calipers and larger diameter Rotor. Why no just go all out and get BF turbo brakes.

I am about to put BA MKII brakes on my AU XR6 series 1, they are bigger and are dual piston. You can get the BF high series (Turbos too) which use the 322mm Disc, the standard BA uses 298mm.
You can also get he F6/GT/GTP/Force ones, 355mm but will cost you can arm and leg for pads and rotors. :)

hey guys you`ve caught my interest, i`m in the process of upgradeing my s2 xr6 brakes also, there was a couple of kits on ebay, one used the original au2 xr6 2 piston caliper with a different mounting bracket and 330 mm rotors, i would be interested to see the difference between the ba caliper standard and xr series to the au xr, i am looking to put the bf xr8/turbo calipers if i can get them at the right price, ford want $350 each for the bf xr8 calipers  .

g`day Xcabbi from what i have read, 298 mm rotors will fit under 16" rims, someone else should be able to confirm this.

All the BA utes with 16" rims run the 298mm disc rotors.

AU1 brakes are similar to EL, but everything else in the front suspension is completely different.
You would need to change the kframe and everything tha attaches to it.

The ball joints are in the stub axle on EA/EB/ED/EF/EL and the ball joints on AU onwards are in the control arms. The Caliper sites in a different position between EF and AU II/III. Without changing the WHOLE front end you would not be able to put brembos of an AU/BA on your car.

The only way to go is buy one of those brake packages seen on Ebay for about $25003.00
