Im looking at upgrading my brakes on my EF Fairmont V8
Just want to know if AU Twin Piston calipers will fit and whats involved in changing them over? Can anyone help me please? |

It is a completely different suspension.....the stub axle assemblies don't have ball joints like EL backwards......and the crossmembers are waaaayyy different too.

modified stub axle (think EL GT), caliper adaptor and EL GT rotors.

if your up for it you could just whack the whole AU front end under your monty, but just remember its not all bolt in and its a big job to do.

In other words, the reason we have not all done this already, is that it is either too expensive, $1500 or more for a brake upgrade kit, or the work involved to DIY it is rather complicated, including adapting an AU crossmeber and engineers report.
The simple, cheap option, is to just fit some std size slotted rotors and better pads. Cheers BenJ
