Seriously though, there probably isnt anything done to the car. It is likely just in better condition. They wouldnt to the extent of head porting or internal mods on a 6 cylinder when they can buy an 8. It wouldnt make any sense.

My GF had an undercover cop ED and it wasnt anything special compared to my ED. Mine was faster and in better condition.

Some get better suspension and even the optional holes in your dashboard and roof. They also come with compulsory cop thrashing before you buy.

Why are you asking about engine mods in the suspension, gearbox and driveline forum?

The service manual that comes with the car includes a supplement by tickford explaining the differences from a stock forte. We had 3 series ones and this was in the back of the ford folder with the owners manual. After Series one, we went to VT's and didnt get any fords again until the BA

The cops had there own ECU in the AU. Shut down speed was 215 kmh, not 180 kmh like the std ECU. There were some suspension mods too, I think it was just XR6 stuff.
