We recently purchased an Au fairlane with only 120,XXX in immaculate condition, but when I tried to turn traction control off nothing would happen, ANY IDEAS????????????????????????????????????????

Also the traction control button could be a little seized if its never been used. My dads AU was like that for quite a few presses as well until i put a tad of WD 40 in the switch.

Im guessing the light on the dash is staying on, which means TC is currently off.
If there is a problem with the ABS system/sensors this can disable TC |

Also if its due for a new set of leads or coils packs the traction control will deactivate and cause the light to stay on believe it or not.
