My Ghia is really giving me the you know whats. The auto is great when firswt started and running from cold. As it heats up whenever i come t a stop and then start again, it literally bangs into 2nd gear. Only does it going from first to second.. the rest of the gears seem ok. Has anyone had this prob before and if so what repairs are needed. Any info that may help would be appreciated.

gearbox woudl be the same as all teh AUi6's but MAY have the adaptive shift

to check the fluid level u need a hoist as there is no dipstick
there is a 15mm i think bolt on the drivers side of the box
undo that and if fluid comes out it is full

also have the boix serviced at a tranny joint it may just need some new oil and add a external tranny cooler to it
