Hi

I've had a quick look on the forum search for anythign to do with AU's and manual conversions.

Does anyone know if there is much drama to convert an AU from auto to manual?

The only thread I have found is this one
http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopi ... conversion

My main concern is the ECU. any advice would be much appreciated.

Reason I ask is that I've found a AU fairmont ghia with blown auto box going pretty cheap, if its poss to convert to manual for a fair amount of money, I'll upgrade my E series.

CHeers

Auto to manual conversion wont be hard if you can source the parts overthere, its hard enough here getting an AU manual bellhousing here, having said that there is a guy in brissy that has a complete conversion for an AU he might also have the ECU. Let me know if you want his details.

Ahh, I haven't actually gone out to see how hard it is to source an AU manual box.
