Hi all,

I've got an AU Falcon series 3. It has a knock / rattle coming from the suspension somewhere that occurs under light braking especially, but also when simply driving in a a straight line or around light bends.

Now, the curious thing is it only starts occurring after 20-30 mins of driving. It is NEVER there from the outset when you first take off. I've read a few threads about similar sounds and seems the bushes on the sway bar and also worn shocks are possible causes in the AU.

Before I replace parts (was going to start with the sway bushes), I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, particularly considering it only occurs once the car is nice and warm.

try the top control arm inner bushes first. Mine got all creaky so I pulled them out, lubed the sleeve back up, shoved them back in and it's been fine ever since.
