After looking around for a new project car i purchased this AU Forte, it has a stuffed auto so had to have it towed home. The trans pan was removed so the auto has no fluid in it, is the engine able to be started and run with no fluid in the auto? i have another auto ready to go in.

Plans for the car xr front, 18" BA/BF xr8 rims, ssl king springs, renew interior, either a 6 or 8 with a raptor supercharger, will start a build thread shortly.

The car goes into the trany shop on Wednesday to have the auto fitted from my sons ED XR6, i wont run the auto without fluid in it to avoid possible engine damage.

i really love the galaxy blue on the AU shape! its going to look ace lowered with nice wheels and rubber.

thanks for the replies guys :)

Yeah thanks sharfty.

Change of plan, the car didnt go in for the trans swap today as i located an au 2 motor with 100,000 ks, will try and have both engine and auto in by the weekend. also picked up a black xr steering wheel + a complete cruise control conversion.
