I have been given a really good deal on a pair of adjustable front Konis to suit an AU. If I use the corresponding tapered AU front coils (lows) will this set up fit an EL? Thanks for any answers.

I know for a fact that the part number for springs and shocks from King springs and Monroe differ from AU and EL so im prretty sure your set up wont fit.

joolz, I know the part numbers will be different between EL and AU as the AU strut has a smaller spring seat due to the AU spring being tapered, but if you look at an AU assembly complete with correct matching spring the top mount through the tower appears the same as EL and the lower mount over the bottom arm appears the same as EL, so without having one of each to put side by side it would seem as though they may fit - the reason for asking was in case someone had actually tried it and could give a definate Yes or No.
D.Frank - I'm in NZ so the deal wouldn't work out so good by the time they were sent over (unless you were to send your dancer over to pick them up)
