Wanting to change the offset on my EL, was thinking AU struts/hubs etc... would achieve this, am I correct in this assumption?
What do I need to be aware of? Will it bolt straight in, will the alignment be within reason? Any pitfalls from someone who has done this? I read it on here awhile back but have been searching for the last 15minutes and can't find the thread

not an easy task!!!
the lower control arms are completely different and wont fit, so the au stub axle wont bolt up to the e series control arm.. if you were to use all factory au parts, you would need a complete au k frame ect, then some modifications to the e series rails is needed to bolt the au k frome in.. otherwise at the moment your only option is a aftermarket brake upgrade like a "racebrakes" kit.. |

and then the rear you'd have to change the diff

Deff, it is possible to get a car certified with hub adaptors. There was a EF fairmont on trademe last week that was certified for 27mm wide spacers to suit AU offset wheels.
The only thing is if you going to go down the certification route you may as well get as much stuff as possible signed off in one go. Below are the ones I used for my XE & EF falcon. From memory they need about 2mm turned off the internal diameter on the back side of the spacer to fit on a Falcon Hub properly. I was able to get them in the lathe without removing the studs. http://www.redlineperformance.co.nz/?ac ... part=22130 I haven't had any issues with them since they were fitted. My XE needs certification anyway for the Turbo set up so will most likely make a few more mods to it before putting the car through for Certification. |

There is an EOI on boostedfalcon for billet LCA's to fit AU uprights into E-Series.....

He hasn't had the time to test fit them yet due to work and weather. We've had some shocking rain here in Brisbane in the last week or so.

Either way the car will still need Certified for the changes.
