When driving my Au series 1 futura, I noticed a scraping noise comming from my front right wheel when turning left (weight shift to the right hand side). After jacking the car up it became obvious that my lower control arm was scraping the inside of my disc (machining out too) - It sits noticeably lower than the control arm on the other side.
Has anyone struck this problem before, I'm not sure whether its a busted shock or stuffed bushes. If you have experienced this problem and know what it is please let me know. Thanks Mitch |

I would suspect that the lower ball joint or wheel bearing has collapsed, I would check these two things first myself.
