Hey guys, well i got my conversion coming on Wednesday, im just curious how much difference will i feel in low down power? im chasing accel not top end, ive also got some 3.9s coming, going from the stock fairmont ratio. Also on another note is it possible to get the stock ecu converted to work with manual, i've heard of the mod you can do but i'll leave that as a last resort. anyways i'll be in touch of with the outcome of it all ;)

with a 5speed and 3.9s you will notice a bit more zip than the auto that's for sure, hope you like changing gears and filling up with fuel hehe

Best cheapest bet for the ecu is a J3 setup for manual.

Yeah i thought i'd get a bit more off the line response :) plus having the manual allows for the 977b ;) I've heard bit and pieces about a j3 but i've never really looked into it, i've heard the can get expensive with retunes and such? also will i need a dyno for the j3 or will it just be a rough tune and install?
