Anyone know if a AU V8 LTD diff centre with a 3.23:1 will fit into a AU 2 wagon 6cyl or can it even be done?
Also any chance this is LSD? it says high performance on the sticker.

I can confirm it is a LSD if it came from a LTD.

Wouldn't have a clue if it will fit a wagon...

The internals from that diff will fit in your diff, but the IRS will not fit the wagon. So you can pull the hemisphere out of the IRS setup and bolt in into a live axle. I can confirm this works, as I have an EB open centre hemisphere in my AU IRS with a 4wd systems Lokka

When the tag says " High Performance "....it means it has a 28 spline, 4 pinion single legger. They are not LSD......it would say it was an LSD if it were.
As for fitting into a wagon axle assembly, I don't know, The IRS diffs have a plug looking thing inside them, where the side gears are......unlike non-IRS diffs, you can see shafts and stuff inside the centre.

Read my post above. The internals are the same with the exception of a circlip groove machined into the side gears/cones. I have done the reverse and put live axle stuff into my IRS housing. It works, speaking from experience here.
