gday , is there a way to stiffen up the shift on an au xr6 1 ute , would have to get a shift kit or ..... can someone plz shed some light for us .

yeah, a shift kit is required to get firmer / harder shifts from your AU

well thats the other way of doing it, by adjusting the VPS in the auto, but if you do it electronically you have the option of adjusting the shift feel, or going back to std shifts from in the car without dropping the trans pan.

AU the S5 solenoid is supposed to be adjustable to some extent mechanically.
