I installed some king superlows in my AUI XR6 last week. I have ultima lowered gas shocks in the rear and monroe GTs in the front.

I know that the springs take a small amount of time to settle, but it really isn't very low at all???!!?

The back is OK but the front is only just lower than standard. I thought it might just look like that with the standard wheels, but I got some 18s yesterday and it still looks high.

The rear shocks have a reduced length of about 30 mm specially made for king springs, and the front are pretty long. The way i see it, the shocks cannot possibly change the ride height, so why is it so high especially the front?

Does anyone have any pics of superlows in AU1?

I parked next to a mate's AUII S pack yesterday and it was pretty much the same ride height as his, his almost looks lower due to the C2R kit fitted.

Any opinions or help would be great :D

Cheers guys and gals,
Matt

Check the part number on the spring and compare it with the catalogue on King Spring's web site to make sure they are the correct springs.
They may have possibly sold you V8 fronts.

Yeah they are the same. I'm sure this explains a little bit of extra height...

Hmmmm your rear looks the same as mine, but I still have a gap above my front wheels between wheel and guard... maybe they will sink a little more. Are you using standard shocks or new ones?

cheers mate
