too hard to put a figure on... depends on if u do it yourself or if u want a drive in/drive out professional conversion. I've heard of the latter costing up to $2000

for example I bought an EA sedan manual for $1000 for a converson for my wagon. Thats all I needed, and I sold all the other s**t. That was pretty expensive, if you go to the auctions, get a wreck with a manual, probably for $400 or so. If you just want the box, prces for the whole kit go from $400-1500. Depending on which model, and condition.

The other thing is an EA box would fit, but it has a 3 bolt clutch, so while you're at it, fit in a 4 litre flywheel, and put an XR6 clutch on. They're like $300 from ford.

Also the ECU doesn't need replacing, but if you're paranoid, and don't like reisistors, then you'll need an XR6 manual ecu, and if its a wagon, a manual XR6 Wagon ECU. lol, good luck.

Cheers

Thats a nice car you're selling, if I had that money Id get it.

One thing is that an XR6 is expensive, and Wagons are not that common. Put the two together, and you got an expensive and rare car.

Would it not be better to buy just an ED wagon, or an EBII, stick an XR6 engine in it, the T5 at the same time, and if you get the Fairmont Ghia wagon, it has the 3.23 LSD.

Are you looking at the EF or the ED XR6 wagons?

Cheers

Yeah, they have different codes. Im using a sedan one in mine now, seems to be alright. Don't know the difference, longerwheel base models were limited to 180 I think before the sedans were limited. But im not sure on that one.

Cheers
