I wouldn't say its hard but If its your first time doing it. I would recommend taking your car to a transmission place just so you don't f-u-ck it up. But if you are gonna attempt it get a mate to help you. Gearboxes are heavy and mean.

the gear box must be for an e series v8 the 6 cyl box wont fit, my guess is the hardest part of the conversion is instaling the manual pedal box as the dash needs to come out,

that and the 4 f**k top bellhousing bolts, along with the top starter bolt, word of advice use a s**t of extension and wiggle joint, and same for the starter to bolt.
dash make sure you plug "everything" back in.

lastly eseries v8 have a seperate trans controller, but I'm not sure if just removing it etc. what thee go is somebody else should be able to further on this.

T5 from a V8 or you can get the input shaft modified to suit from a 6 cyl as the V8 is longer than the 6 cyl.
