looking around, i found i need to get:

1) Manual Transmission Box
2) Clutch assy., and flywheel. This will bolt straight onto your motor.
3) Clutch cable, spigot bearing, manual boot/surround to suit interior

cost, if anyone knows?

yes but i'm looking just for the cost of parts, not labour, as i'm doing it myself. like, cost of gear box, and clutch assembly, etc.

You also need the tailshaft (I checked them - they are different lengths, and the balance thingo on the manual is bigger)

I was quoted $2500 drive in drive out for the manual conversion.

I ended up buying yobbofords EB for a lot less than that, and doing the conversion with a mate (as well as getting the LSD, and steering column)

When we got the tailshafts out of the cars (manual one from EB wagon, auto one from ED wagon). They were different lengths, (about 4 or 5 cm different), and the balance bit near the yoke was a lot bigger on the manual shaft.

the box probably has 300,000km on it and needs a rebuild for that price.
