ok il answer a few questions
1) easy enough if you have an idea of what your doing 2) a few hours with people who know what they are doing 3) best off to change the ecu, but you can wire up some resistors to the auto one, the document is floating round on FM somewhere 4) manual box off an ED will fit into EF, not ecu or pedal box though 5)look at where the handbrake is on EA-ED compared to EF-EL. hope this helps

Ed pedal box will work, but wont fit as is.
EA-ED pedal boxes has fixed bolts at the top that pass through the steering column and are screwed down from above. In EF/EL the bolts were moved to the steering column, and pass down through the pedal box and do up from under. To use an EA-ED in an EF pedal box you just need to cut the bolts out and size the holes left behind so the bolts in the EF/EL column can pass through. Some of the mounts for electrics were added/removed/moved but it can all be made to work easy enough.

You can always get a Mal Wood Clutch Pin Adapter.
That way you can keep your Auto Pedal Box, and add a 3rd pedal. It will take you a full day. Or 2 days, if your taking it slowly. Some guys have worked flat out, and have done it in about 6-8 hours. But of course you'll come across some hiccups etc. Cheers

Cheers dunno about 6-8 hours flat out. it took 3 guys pretty much 7 hours to fit my manual with numerous trips to the auto shop, smoko and food breaks and general d**k around like smashing and kicking the auto box lol

I know it took someone 8 hours on their own. So quicker, if you have more than one person.
Or slightly longer, if you need extra parts etc.
