Shop around there are bargins to be had, don't be frightened by freight costs.

I got mine for $370 for a 70,000k's EF box complete with pedal box, clutch and flywheel. I have spent around another $130 so far on the following new parts:

clutch cable
Pedal rubbers
spigot bearing
ELGT gear boot
after market gear knob
floor boot and retainer (second hand as new are NLA)
clevis bits for the clutch pedal.


All up around $500 I just need the oil and a few seals to finish it off.

also has any1 done a hydralic cluctxh conversion? cause i know they came out with them on the au2 so would it be possible to retrofit the system

How come everyones BTRs seem to just die? sorry to be off topic, Mines never been rebuilt with 200,000kms on it and I flog the life out of it and it never misses a beat.

hmm i thought i had seen a couple with them.... maybe i havent..... and as for why do btrs die i dont know ive had mine rebuilt once already..... although my diff is in a very very bad way also si i think that might be putting a bit of stress on the auto thats why i have decided to try and get the diff rebuilt at the same time if i can find the finances
