Which brand of fluid do you use for Auto Transmission flushes in a 6 cylinder AU?
I'm trying to find the best fluid that would keep the trans alive as long as possible. Any good and bad experiences to share? |

There are a few options you have here.
ANY of the major brands BTR spec fluids will do a good job. Nulon and Gulf Western both have a synthetic fluid for use in the BTR trans. I'm using the Gulf western version in my AU, the only side affect i have noticed is i'm getting better fuel economy. Last edited by tickford_6 on Sat Jan 23, 2010 3:42 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

as tickford_6 said BTR/TQ95/ or to suit ford 4 speed spec will do the job
if you want to extend the life of your auto service its around 30,000ks or 12months and fit a tranny cooler- shouldnt have any dramas then Cheers |
