thanks -revcore- i swap between both set's of wheel's depending on what i'm doing, they both give the car a different look. more mod's to be done over the next couple of months
-dc todd- just had auto serviced with no prob's, i'm upgrading the motor later in the year so planning what i need to make everything work to it's best. the auto guy said something about "kevlar bands" & upgraded solonoid's......the more feed back the better......thanks.

search for the large shiftkit thread, might be a sticky.. save yourself 60$-100 bucks and do it yourself. Try make one up with a variable pot so you can select the shift firmness to your liking.

I got the fully adjustable shiftkit from shiftkits.com, it works so good, chrips into 2nd and kickdown is hard to, so when you boot it it slams back into the gear straight away. I had the transmission fully flushed with a new AU S5 Solinoid put in. I also had the trannys serviced 15,000k's after i put it in and he said the tranmission is holding up fine no metals shavings and the oil was still nice an red. I wouldn't recommond using it when ur in the wet though, iv had my self completely side ways at 80'ks on a straight road just because it changed into 2nd so hard.

does having the AU S5 solenoid make a noticeable difference?

also is it hard to fit/do you need to do it with the box out?

i tried searching but it wont let me use two letter words :(

Yea they AU made a more solid crisp shift when changing and with the shiftkits all you have to do is wire it into your ECU where the passenger kick panel is. I think you only have to cut an rejoin 2 wires, when you buy it is has the diagram and wat pin numbers you have to go in.
