is it possible to sespline the axles in an EF diff?

Im planning a 302 into sigma conversion and want to use the EF lsd that i have sitting here

sure why not they cut down and respline 9inch diffs everyday of the week for just about anything that moves just talk to some diff places - it might not be cheap though

some axles are tapered and narrower after the spline and cant be resplined

are e series axles like this?

Depending on how far you're going to shorten it....might not be a problem.

ok pull an axle today and found that they can be resplined if your cutting 100mm or more off the axle

EF RH axle is 805mm i need it to be at 685 at the most
