a while ago i was asking how to get rid of axle tramp. i finally got it resolved so i thought i'd let ppl know what i did.

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=39144

on wednesday i finally got around to getting new shocks in the beast (along with a service and spark plugs) and what a difference it has made! and the best thing about it is no more axle tramp! one of my old shocks was f**k (could be why i bottomed out so much around corners). so far this would have to be the best money i've spent on the car, better hadling, better ride, no axel tramp and the best bit... 2 nice black lines :D

stock shocks on a lowered car is the reason why they were flogged. this is where people think they can save some cash.

I sometimes get a bit of axel tramp (very minor) and it hasn't even been lowered. gotta get my suspension done I guess.

i think it has a lot to do with pinion angle, the diff raises in its mounts and makes it hop.maybe stiffer shocks wil fix it but if the pinion angle is wrong it wud hav to b fixed.not matter wat shocks
