Hi all I am upgrading from a donor car going to swap everything over including engine computer and loom from a BF into a BA Ute, to update my engine fresher one and up the 4 speed to a ZF6 .
My question is, is it possible I can do the loom swap without having to completely take the dash out? I know that I will need a custom tail shaft made up as it might be hard to find one. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. Dash out job BF looms were slightly different to BA. Having said that i'm running the H looms (floor loom) out of a BF in a BA with Minimal mods, i think the only wire i had to change in it was the Sport shift signal wire as in a BA it took the direction back over and around the drivers side where as the BF one went via passenger side. 100% best bet is to change every loom from the engine bay to the tail lights. Roof looms were the same between both so wont require changing.

Thanks for the info.
Would you still suggest completely replacing all the way to tail lights given the sedan donor car its all going into a ute? |
