Hey Guys,
So I've had my BA Fairmont Ghia for about a month now and i think i have an ABS issue. When I'm braking, sometimes the brakes shudder (happens at least once a day). The shudder is at a fairly high frequency. It doesn't seem to be related to the amount of brake force, sometimes it happens then im braking lightly. The only somewhat common theme is it usually happens entering a roundabout or when i enter the driveway at work (lots of loose stones on the drive). It seems to be related to a traction issue or unequal brake pressure on different wheels. No other car i have had has shown this issue (even in the same driveway at work!). So the question is, what could be causing this? Could it be related to the 20" rims? Could it be related to the lowed springs? Could it be related to the slotted discs? Could it be totally unrelated to these mods? Has anyone else ever had issues with the ABS after doing any mods like these? Thanks all!

Had a similar issue with my BA about a year ago... it was a faulty/dirty ABS sensor. You could replace them all, or take it to ford for diagnostics and they will be able to tell you which side you need to replace. Should sort your issue.
