We have a (2007) BF2 xr6 that needs the right rear suspension all replaced (hit a gutter). Just want to know if we buy a smashed (from hit) BA (2003) falcon, can we use the IRS from that? Are they the same?
Thanks |

Thanks The control arms are the same but the Rear Knuckle is different, a lot has to do with the fact you have an XR6 and also a later model. The rear springs are different too but shock absorbers are the same for XRs all the way from BA to BF2. If the BA you get is an XR or GT or F6 or similar you can use what I said were the same. With a standard BA you would not be able to use the shocks, springs or Knuckle. |

We have the car now and have looked at it. The only thing that needs to be replaced is the control arms. Do late series AU's have IRS? We have the chance to get parts from either a BA or a AU (au being cheaper)

BA XT's (except Egas) dont have adjustable rear camber like the XR/GT range.
