What price have people paid to get a BA auto to manual conversion done?
Did the BA MKII's come with a 5spd or 6spd Manual? I emailed FTG and got a price of $2500 for the 5 spd and $3500 for the 6spd + $800 for oil, does this sound like a fair price? |

99% certain BA Mk2 XR's and FPV's had the T56, while standard models still retained the TR3650, correct me if i'm wrong.
I bought most of my T56 manual conversion for $2500, which included the gearbox, crossmember, pedal box and hydraulic lines, a moderately worn clutch and flywheel, CSC, ECU and gearbox wiring harness. But i also forked out for a new clutch and flywheel at $850, a new alloy CSC at $150, had my tailshaft modified and rebuilt (new slip yoke, universal joints and repacked CV) at $450 and took the car to Ford to get the new ECU programmed to the car at $270. Just to give you an idea |

Speak to the new forum sponsor who deal in b series /fg parts. They want 1500 for a t5 conversion or 2500 for the t56

Getting this quoted up right now for the Wagon.....both a 5spd and 6spd for comparison.
Not fussed either way to be honest as I'll be sticking with an N/A application, although I'm expecting the 6spd will cost at least a grand more. Will post up in a couple of days when it comes through.
