How hard is it with the BA XR6 to replace the front discs, is it like all the other EF/EL and need to take out the bearings as well?

nah mate, nothing like the ef/el. There a piece of pis s to change.
Just undo the wheel, take of the caliper and the rotor should practically fall off. Sometimes it will require a bit of persuasion, and if you are replacing them just bring out the hammer. THough most times they do literally fall off. Cheers |

As xf_xr6 said once you have removed the calliper the rotor should come of easy. No messing with wheel bearings. Basically the rotor is sandwiched between the bearing hub and the road wheel.
Here is a pic to give you an idea.
