I beleive option in the XR6's had the option... FPV's came standard.
Pov pack (XT Futura, and possibly fairmont) Optional as well. I know my BA futura does not have LSD... mates XT does (was optioned up) |

as was said, it was an option, one that was rarely chosen.
The XR6T, XR8, FPV were all sandard with m86 LSDs Where as, the XR6, Farimont, Futura, XTs all had option on m78 LSDs. Depending on what you have, you'll need to change the drive shafts and diff centre to convert a m78 open centre to m86 LSD, or if you can find a m78 LSD housing/gears then you can use your curent driveshafts. But for the effort you'd go to finding a m78 housing/gears - you'd be better off just having your diff rebuilt with the AU 4pinion a***, rather than the BA 2 pinions. probably end up costing similar money to a m78 you'd find, and you'd atleast know you have new parts. I have a m78 open centre diff here that happily acted as a LSD most of the time, I think i was just lucky.

yes i think the b series are just really well balanced, my single spinner (not sure what series) in the mont seems to love smokin two's.
anywho it's a mont (non ghia) and apparently it was an option that was not ticked on mine.
