just a quick question re the BA/BF hydraulic setup on manuals. refering to the two pics ... is the rod going into the piston/pump supposed to flap around loose or is it meant to be connected??








i presume it's meant to be 'connected' so it don't 'flap' around???

also what's best way of bleeding the system?

Is that to say the body and piston are two separate pieces? If you remove the piston plunger from it's pivot it'd come right out of the body?

Doesn't seem right...



Pretty sure to bleed mine when I gave it a flush it was use a brake bleeder to get the fluid through quick and then let it gravity feed I think... Maybe I ended up with two people and pushing/releasing the pedal while tightening loosening the bleeder... Bleeder is only just possible to get a spanner on and never invisible...

at the moment the setup is out of a car so it's not too badish to bleed by oneself



wouldn't happen to know what is differant between BA/BF accelerator assemblies would ya been told differant but have no idea what lol ended up with one of each.
