If you have a live rear axle you CAN fit BA rear wagon/ute brakes but you will either need to change the backing plate or put a washer between the calipers where they bolt on, the chnage of backing plate is much better.
I cant answer for the IRS but I guess you could use the washer method to space the caliper. I have an AU I XR6 with live axle and will be changing mine soon, I have the backing plates from a BA wagon to do the job. |

Attachment: Plsate 1.JPG Attachment: plate2.JPG You would have to change the backing plate and get a High Series brake Ute or wagon one and also the dust shield. There is a little difference between the Territory Caliper and the High Series Ute/Wagon type but I am guessing you could use the Territory one? The Backing plates are R/H BAFC2 2C220 A $217.10, L/H BAFC2 2C221 A $217.10, Dust Shield R/H BAFC 2A481 A $31.85, L/H BAFC 2T001 A $31.85. Those prices are full retail and I am sure that you could get these from a Wreckers like FTG? Hope that this helps |
