is there any other diffs that are compatible with a ba diff as i got quoted for a 2nd hand diff @ 900 aud. i did try and search the topic but couldnt find anything.

im enquiring on behalf of a friend and was hoping i could point her in the direction of a diff that will fit under her 2004 ba falcon. The only ba diff i could find was 900 dollars and she cant afford that so i decided to see if any earlier diffs were compatible with ba and maybe it would be cheaper.

sedan and yes it is very noisy. In fact even over standard radio full boar, without amp, you can still hear diff.

Overhaul will only cost around $600-$700 last time I've checked.
