Hi Fellas,

Quick question. I am more than certain but just wanted the extra added comfort of being confirmed that the BA Falcon and other high end models such as the BA turbo or Typhoon turbo all share the same engine mounts?

I need to replace both mine in the BA XT which is the straight gas model however I will be converting over to turbo in the future so I would prefer to use the turbo model engine mounts.

So am I correct in saying they are all the same?

Thanks in advance

I am not 100% sure, but non turbo and turbo mounts are different part numbers but are interchangable, the turbo mounts are a harder rubber.

Yeah thats what I have also heard hence why I wanted 100% confirmation. Because I would rather put turbo ones in now for future prep!

They ARE different and the Gas ones are supposedly the stiffer one of them.

Ok fellas i have made up my mind. I am going to go with the turbo engine mounts. But brand new genuine they are around close to $400. So i am going to grab em off a wrecker. Is there anything i should be looking out for when purchasing second hand ones?

Yes....oily slimey stuff coming out of them....if they have that, they are stuff.....and there will be a good chance of that if they've had a good bingle.
