Hey guys, can anyone tell me which bush in the diff of a BA sedan causes that sideways movement,as description Floating around so to speak?,is it the center bush?
This has developed in my dads BA so would like to get it sorted quickly before it (the car decides to throw itself off the road) any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Johnny.

also check other two bushes in diff housing. with the "floating" referance .... do you mean the pivot bushes on either side arms that hold the 'arms' of the rear suspension in place ? [canna think of name. they go from rear suspension towards front of car & either side]

Mad2 is talking about the Control Blade bushes but these only control fore/aft movement.

If the rear of the car feels like it is floating side to side it's almost certainly the rose joints (there are 3 each side) that are located at the ends of the suspension arms out at the hubs/knuckles. More like ball joints than bushes.
