hey guyhs just got som new hubs and wheel bearing for my falcon and gonna chuk em on in a day or so and was just wondering if i need to put any grease on these before i put em on or are they fine as is.

Nah mate they should be pre-greased. I just clean the shaft up with a bit of sand paper and hit it with a bit of lube spray makes it alot easier to put the new hub on.

The bearings will most likely need to be packed though. None of the ones that I've seen in or out of work are packed.

What do you mean by packed? Packed with grease? All the ones I have had were.

Yeah packed with grease. Really? Hmmm can't say I've ever seen them. Lucky you, don't have to bother packing them :D

Dunno I have always just brought mine from ebay. They have been packed with that blue grease

Yeah we have a bearing packer at work where u put the bearing in, push down on like a handle thing and it pushes the grease through between the rollers but its a pain tryin to find the thing lol

no need to pack ba bearing its a sealed unit.

if however you live in a wet area, perth isn't i'm thinking, you should pull it apart clean it up and apply marine grade grease will double your bearing life
