Hey guys,ew to the site and mechanics..I've bought a xr8 ba 5 speed manual with a FG 290 engine installed, just wanting to know if a fg 6 speed manual would fit in place of the current knackered 5 and is it a good idea? Or any recommendations?
Thanks for any input.

Should bolt up with little to no issues.

Think but not 100% sure that the tailshaft is a different length.

So maybe a BF 6 speed seen as they are mated to the 290?im assuming it's basically the same engine in the bf as is in the fg.
