Here's a link to prices for doing it properly, otherwise you can get your springs compressed (or whatever they do) at tyre factory for around $350 if your on a budget. Your best bet would be to get new springs and shocks as your stock shocks wont last too long once lowered, i found that out the hard way :|

P.S Check with your insurance to see how low you can go. My old insurance cancelled mine because i went lower than 30mm which was against their policy.

well aparently (someone told me and a few forum guys I know have had it done for ages no problems).. if you get it lowered only about an inch or so, so that its a nice level you dont need to get shocks aswell, just springs.

If you just want springs theres good dobinson springs on ebay for cheap

My ute went down around 2" (if not more) at the back so i was basing it on that, and i thought being a xt it would be a big drop (compared to a XR) :?

Those prices on that link are very comparable to a leading suspension group around australia that may\may not use a bull as an icon.

Well you need a chamber kit at the front otherwise you could get wear on the inner edge of your tyres. Craig @ ACE uses top quality stuff, the chamber kit alone is around $400 and takes minutes to adjust and he uses king springs.

I also went to pedders and to be honest they were a useless lot, could have just been the store i went to but the guy had no idea. He didnt really know how to lower a ute and said i'll need lowering blocks and it would cost me over $1000 all up

camber kit $400 :( i need one of them as mine is out a fair bit after chucking 17's on (and not even lowering yet) after a wheel allign they said the camber was out a fair bit. it wanders a little and vibrates at hwy speed.

is there any kits or places that would be a bit cheaper.

Thanks
Ben
