I need some clarification.
I had it in my head that the BA MkI XR8 was released with a front springrate identical to the MkI XR6, and that the MkI GT series were released with stronger springs on the front. I also thought that there was an upgrade on the MkII XR8 such that it received the GT Front springs and therefore handled better at the front. Could someone set me straight if I've gotten this all wrong? Lukeyson |

Half helping to answer my own question, this drive article seems to mentioned uprated springs at both ends....I'll search some more.

OK, I found someone that thinks the same as me. Phido was a fordforums.com.au poster as well, but I found his comments at LS1 forums of all places. (Scroll down and look for one of the Phido posts.)

And the punches keep rolling in:
I at least found someone who thinks the BA MkI GT springrates are the same as the BA MkII Springs: (Scroll down to one of the posts by Jabba). So is he right? http://www.fordforums.com/showthread.ph ... R8+springs Lukeyson |
