I have a 04 ba xls man ute.Now when ive done a long trip ,say over 25ks ,im getting a noise ,like a rubbing sound when i turn the steering wheel from left to right. It doesnt do it on short trips. And when i reversed out of the drive yesterday after a long trip ,it clunked 3 times. Now ford had it last week and put a shim in the steering rack, which hasnt done anything. The head tech there heard it slightly when we went for a run and said the upper left bush needed lubrication but then said it was ok.Also when i drive over cats eyes in the road,i get a clicking noise coming from the front wheels.Any ideas.thanks.

The rubbing sound might be the front wheel bearings. Common prob with ba falcons. Have had to fix mine a few times.
